("Asha", Asha One, 1969)
All compositions, poem and jacket art of this album were made by Lloyd McNeill, in 1969.
He's a musician, painter, drawer, poet and photographer... A REAL artist, in fact ! Check his fabulous work on his website.
In the 60's, he moved to Paris, to escape the discrimination, which continue in spite of the Civil Rights Movement.
Between revolutionnary and spiritual jazz, Lloyd McNeill recorded a lot of very interesting tunes... This one is on the revolutionnary side.
