("Sunshine Man", Flying Dutchman, 1971)
Check this piece of flutist Harold Alexander. The great sound on the jazz-funk side of the force ! Melody is dancing, rythm is swinging, the groove is coming in your body... Move it baby !
"Sunshine Man" was produced by the renowned producer Bob Thiele, with his own record label Flying Dutchman. It's the first one of the three albums that "Black" Harold Alexander published under his own name.
His cries mixed with his perfect flute sound is for me enjoyable, not for you ?
Harold Alexander : flute
Neal Creque : electric piano
Richard Landrum : percussions
Richard Davis : bass
Pretty Purdie : drums
