The Queen of Salsa was in Kinshasa in 1974 for the great soul festival Zaire '74, organized to go along with the boxing match Muhammad Ali vs George Foreman. Jeffrey Levy-Hinte film it and made a movie called "Soul Power" (June 2009), with James Brown, B.B.King, Miriam Makeba, Bill Withers and more.
Celia Cruz featured Fania All Stars, the dream team of the label Fania which included stars of salsa music from New York at that time.
