Brian Blade is a drummer, bandleader of The Fellowship Band, who started as a sideman with Brad Mehldau, Kenny Garrett and Joshua Redman.
Today, he's on drums of Wayne Shorter's Quartet, respected like the best jazz quartet in the world at the moment.
He recorded also with popstars like Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, and Bob Dylan...
Brian Blade started his concert in Montreal Jazz Festival 2009 (at the "Gesù") with this beautiful tune : Stoner Hill.
