Sampled by RZA for "The Birth", this track figures on the first album of golden group 24-Carat Black. The bandleader, Dale Warren, is known for the chords arrangements on Isaac Hayes "Walk On By", but this "Poverty's Paradise" must be explored. It's a bit strange that Stax released this classic, 'cause it doesn' sound like Southern Soul. Anyway, just listen, see you on 7th sky !
