This unreleased tune is a killer, recorded at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in 2006. It's part of a rare WWOZ New Orleans compilation, found by my great friend DAV*** "Lambron" K. Thanxxx.
Christian Scott is, for me, the best jazz trumpeter in da place today... He plays here with the beautiful Esperanza Spalding, his ex-girlfriend, and an all-star band.
