Guru (Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal), the rapper of Gang Starr, mythical group with DJ Premier, is a pioneer of Hip-Hop jazz music.
Extract of his project "Jazzmatazz", this track features Common and the smooth jazz keyboardist, arranger and producer Bob James (sampled by Eric B. & Rakim, Beastie Boys, De La Soul, Wu-Tang Clan, etc).
This album is the second release for Guru's label, 7 Grand Records (with producer Solar).
